Why Endgrain?
This natural wood product excels by radiating life and warmth, strength and flexibility, but it demands high skills in craftsmanship to form this very exclusive product. Endgrain tops consist of staves glued along the edge so the growth rings of the wood are visible on the surface. This brings about superior strength and resistance and as an extra, an elegant mixture of colours.
Environment
Made in Denmark and produced from viable European forests and environmentally approved products. It has now been established, that wood is an exceptional hygienic material. This has been confirmed by research of several international organisations - most recently by Nordic and German scientific institutes. The hygienic qualities of solid wood were compared to those of plastic and stainless steel. The research shows that bacteria easily survives on materials like plastic and steel, while on solid wood the bacteria was destroyed within a short time. Solid hardwood contains enzymes that erode unwanted bacteria. Wood is environmentally adaptable and creates a good indoor climate.
Where is the Product Used?
